In a town? or do you want peace and tranquility there are literally hundreds of thousands of property or land for sale in Bulgaria that you don't just have to settle for any old place. One of the other things I think is very important is what do you want to get out of Bulgaria!!!!

So do you buy an apartment or a house or a plot of land to build your own. One of the things to remember about building your own is the building materials in Bulgaria are different to the materials back home so be careful.
Your budget is very important but please be realistic!!!!!! know what you want and be prepared if you want to buy a house for let's say 10000 euro you can safely say you will easily need to spend another 10000 doing renovations.
You can buy many cheap properties in Bulgaria but believe me they need an awful lot of work done on them or in some cases demolished and rebuilt.
Once you've decided where and what you want to buy you can then work with your estate agent to acheive your dream.
